Description

Addressing Common Weight Loss Misconceptions in Sport will help you make sense of common yet untrue beliefs held by many athletes and coaches surrounding weight loss and its effects on performance. You will understand how to address these misconceptions with your athletes and offer effective and safe guidance (or referrals) based upon sound exercise and nutrition principles within your scope of practice.

  • Priscila Lamadrid

    Priscila Lamadrid, MS, is a personal trainer and nutrition and training coach with ProPhysique. Lamadrid earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science, as well as her master’s degree in exercise science, with a concentration in strength and conditioning, from the University of South Florida in Dr. Bill Campbell’s lab. She has her Level 1 Nutrition Certification through Precision Nutrition and is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.
