Hot Flash Huddle: Help Clients Embrace Change During Menopause will explore the stages of menopause and the expected hormonal shifts that affect a woman’s body, mind, and overall well-being, providing you with valuable information in how to best support your clients. You’ll first examine common pain points that begin during perimenopause and can last well into menopause, including unexplained weight gain, sleep disruptions, changes in skin and hair, and other symptoms, including hot flashes and night sweats. Next, uncover the power of nutrition and controlling stress in contributing to fat loss and decreasing symptoms for women. Understand the training needs that work best, including resistance training, mobility, and Pilates (in contrast to common advice of cardio-focused and cortisol-driven workouts). You’ll learn how to apply the science of fitness and strength and use best practices to help women thrive during this period of their lives.
