Description

Stabilization Training introduces stabilization training as a way to improve functional fitness and activities of daily living. Learn why it’s important and the four core principles of training: neuromuscular efficiency, proprioception, core strength, and progressive overload. Discover exercise methods that are used to improve proprioception, and how the principle of progressive overload can be applied to stabilization training. With greater understanding of these principles, you will be able to design a program for the general population.

  • Melissa Trinidad

    Melissa Trinidad, CPT, SGX, is the founder and head coach of Optimal Health and Performance Training. Over the course of her 22-year career as a personal trainer, she has helped thousands of people get stronger and healthier. She is certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and holds the Spartan SGX certification. She is a black belt, adventure traveler, and lover of life, family, and friends.
