About
Terence Moriarty, MA, PhD, is an assistant professor of kinesiology and physical education at the University of Northern Iowa and completed doctoral training under Dr. Len Kravitz at the University of New Mexico. Moriarty’s research investigates the effects of acute and chronic aerobic and resistance exercise on cerebral oxygenation and cognitive function, using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) in healthy and clinical populations. This work also examines the cognitive outcomes of nutritional and supplementation interventions as they relate to exercise and human performance.
