Description

Lacrosse Performance and Injury Prevention presents performance enhancement and injury prevention strategies for the quickly growing sport of lacrosse. As a fast-paced contact sport, lacrosse athletes have specific needs to meet the physical and biomechanical demands. The presenter shares years of extensive experience working with lacrosse athletes to provide recommendations for integrated training that prepare athletes for those demands. You’ll discover the necessary elements to include in a training program to improve strength, neuromotor control, and biomechanical output.

About the Presenter

  • Jessi Glauser

    Jessi Glauser, PhD, MS, EP-C, USAW, CSCS,*D, RSCC*D, is an associate professor of strength and conditioning at Liberty University. Additionally, he serves as a strength and conditioning coach and assistant coach with the Liberty University men’s lacrosse team. Glauser holds the Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) credential from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the Performance Coach credential from the USA Weightlifting (USAW).
