Description

Developing a High School Strength & Conditioning Program provides a practical framework for building and implementing a comprehensive strength and conditioning program within a middle school or high school environment. Drawing on the development of Cape Henry Collegiate’s program as a case study, the course outlines how to design, organize, and sustain a performance training system that supports both athletes and nonathletes across grades 6 through 12. You will learn how to design a high school or middle school strength and conditioning program that operates within the individual school’s resources, builds credibility with administrators, and delivers real value to student-athletes. You’ll get actionable tools for creating schedules, developing training systems, and applying long-term athletic development (LTAD) concepts in ways that improve student outcomes and elevate athletic programs.
